It's a great pleasure to welcome you to Krannert Center, the country's premier university-based performing arts complex. There's nothing quite like it. Anywhere in the world.
It's a unique discovery zone for creative experience -- a place where you'll find the most innovative artists of the new generation alongside the world's most beloved living masters. It's a place where the lines blur between high art and pop culture, the familiar and the unfamiliar, the art of the past and the art of our time, and the formal and informal.
It's a massive and exciting blending of classroom, laboratory, and public square out of which flows a rich mix of experiences year round. A place for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and share in the life-affirming exploration of the imagination -- of creativity -- of what it is to be human.
Whether your primary interests lie in the realm of music, theatre, or dance, I encourage you to dig in and take a good look at what's going on here within, across, and between the boundaries. Take full advantage of us. We want you to.
