If you or a loved one is living with Parkinson’s, join us to explore gentle movement in a safe, welcoming environment. With uplifting, familiar music, this 70-minute monthly class led by Marianne Jarvi and Kate Kuper of Dance at Illinois focuses on the preservation and improvement of balance, flexibility, and strength. No dance experience or skill is required. Please dress comfortably for this full-body workshop.
The Drama Rehearsal Room can be reached most directly from the Yellow and Orange parking garages (off Illinois Street).
Please note:
- If you need help locating the Drama Rehearsal Room, you can watch a YouTube video that walks you from the Orange parking garage to the class.
- A member of the Patron Services staff will be waiting with a wheelchair inside the elevator lobby off the Orange parking garage and can assist you in reaching the Drama Rehearsal Room.
- A limited number of metered spaces are located on every level of the underground garage (20 minutes for 25¢).
- Metered spaces are on each street surrounding the Center.
- Spaces marked with the accessibility sign can be found on every level of the underground garage and may be used for free if you display an accessibility hangtag or license plate.
- A space designated as van-only parking is available in the Yellow parking lot (off Illinois Street).
- Any metered space in the underground garage may be used for free if you display an accessibility hangtag or license plate.
- All other spaces in the underground garage are reserved for permit holders, and the Division of Campus Parking and Transportation patrols the lots regularly.
