Great Hall Series | Before the performance, enjoy a special buffet dinner service at Intermezzo beginning at 5:30pm.

Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is consistently hailed as one of the greatest orchestras in the world. Italian conductor Riccardo Muti, one of today’s most celebrated maestros, assumed the podium as the 10th music director of the CSO in September 2010. Although both have graced the stage of the Foellinger Great Hall—the Chicago Symphony Orchestra more than 25 times—this performance marks their first time together at Krannert Center.

Vivaldi: Concerto in A Major for Strings and Continuo, R. 158
Mozart: Symphony No. 38, “Prague”
Beethoven: Symphony No. 4

This performance will last approximately 1 hour and 27 minutes.
