Becoming an Individual Sponsor

Your generous gift not only helps to cover current presentation expenses, but also to build the endowment funds that support these programs. We have a number of different sponsorship levels to accommodate any budget, and we are happy to work with you to ensure that your money is applied to those areas that interest you most.

Endowment Gifts

Endowments are Krannert Center's "savings accounts." To provide a permanent base of constant support, donors have chosen a variety of methods of giving (e.g., life income or other special trusts or bequest provisions) to establish these funds. The following societies recognize these important gifts:

The Krannert Society --$1,000,000 and up
The Foellinger Society -- $500,000 to $999,999
The Colwell Society -- $100,000 to $499,999

Each endowment level has special announcement materials and permanent, ongoing recognition throughout the concert season.

Sponsorship Gifts

Ranging anywhere from $2,500 to amounts over $20,000, these generous gifts underwrite the current Marquee season. All levels of sponsorship gifts are recognized with these special benefits:

Reserved tickets, based on gift level
Program and lobby recognition throughout the year
A private meeting with the artist(s) when it can be arranged
A matted, autographed memento of the event
All Marquee Circle benefits

Season Sponsors ($20,000 or more)
Support the entire Marquee season.

Four reserved tickets to all Marquee events
Name featured on the front page of all Marquee event programs

Sole Patron Underwriter ($20,000 or more)
Underwrite the entire patron sponsorship goal for a performance.

Fifteen or more reserved tickets
Name featured on the front page of the event program

Patron Underwriter ($10,000)
Note that an event may have more than one Patron Underwriter.

Ten reserved tickets
Special feature in the event program

Patron Sponsor ($5,000)
Note that an event may have more than one Patron Sponsor.

Patron Co-Sponsor ($2,500)
Note that an event may have more than one Patron Co-sponsor.

Marquee Circle Gifts

These yearly gifts of $1,000 or more to the Marquee Performance Endowment help build the Marquee Endowment, Krannert Center's "savings account." Your generous donation entitles you to many wonderful benefits, including

advanced mailing of the season brochure to allow for special seating preference during series renewals,
invitations to special Circle gatherings and discussions before and after selected Marquee programs,
program and lobby banner recognition throughout the season,
10% discount at the Promenade gift shop and on luncheon entrees at Intermezzo,
special ticket office telephone number for priority requests, and
advanced notice of special added events.

The Loop

Yearly gifts of $100-$999 support the Marquee performance season and connect donors to Krannert Center through social events, performances, and outreach activities. As donation levels increase, so do benefits.

$100-$249

recognition in the Krannert Center lobby and in the annual report
mailings announcing Creative Intersections activities and invitations to other social gatherings
a 5% discount on regularly priced merchandise at The Promenade and on lunches at Intermezzo (between 11am and 2pm)

$250-$499
All of the above benefits plus

invitations to the Marquee Circle Intermission Club for complimentary coffee and tea during specified Marquee (guest artist) performances

$500-$999
All of the above benefits plus

an invitation to one designated Marquee Circle reception during the Marquee Season

Annual Gifts

Gifts under $100 to the Marquee Annual Fund directly support the current Marquee performance season. Donors are listed in Krannert Center's annual report.
